Service Agreement & Terms of Service

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Reliable Cleans LLC ("Company," "we," "us") and the individual or entity requesting services ("Customer," "you"). By booking a service through our platform, you agree to the following terms:

​

1. NATURE OF SERVICES (DOMESTIC REFERRAL AGENCY)

​

In accordance with the Borello standard and California Civil Code, Reliable Cleans operates as a Domestic Referral Agency.

​

  • Independent Contractors: We do not provide cleaning services directly. We refer independent professional cleaners ("Service Providers") to you.

​

  • No Control: The Company does not supervise, direct, or control the Service Provider's work. The manner and means of the cleaning are determined solely by the Service Provider.

​

  • Relationship: Service Providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Reliable Cleans.

​

2. PAYMENT TERMS & FEE STRUCTURE

​

  • Referral Fee: Our total quoted price includes a referral fee for our administrative and matching services.

​

  • Payment Authorization: You authorize the Company to charge your credit card on file for the full amount of the service, plus any applicable fees (cancellation, lock-out, or adjustments) immediately upon completion of the service.

​

  • Recurring Discount Eligibility: To maintain the discounted rate associated with weekly, bi-weekly, monthly service, and the First Time customer discount where we offer a deep clean for the price of a standard clean, a minimum of three (3) completed appointments at that specific frequency is required. If the service is terminated or the frequency is decreased before the third appointment is completed, the Company reserves the right to retroactively charge the "One-Time" service rate for all previous appointments or the full price of a regular deep clean and bill the difference to the card on file.

3. CANCELLATION & ACCESS POLICY

​

To ensure fairness to our Service Providers who reserve time for your home, we enforce the following:

​

  • Arrival Window: To account for the unpredictable nature of traffic, parking, and varying completion times of prior appointments, we utilize a one (1) hour arrival window.

​

  • Schedule Flexibility: A Service Provider is considered "on time" if they arrive within 60 minutes of the scheduled start time.

​

  • Customer Presence: If you choose to be present for the arrival, please ensure you are available throughout this window to provide access.

​

  • 24–48 Hour Notice: No fee

​

  • Less than 24 Hours or Lock-out: $100 cancellation fee will be charged

​

4. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE (RE-CLEAN POLICY)

​

We want you to be thrilled with your service:

​

  • 24-Hour Window: If you are unsatisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service completion.

​

  • The Remedy: We will coordinate with the Service Provider to return and rectify the specific areas of concern at no additional cost.

​

  • No Refunds: Because Service Providers are paid for their labor upon completion, we do not offer monetary refunds. Our guarantee is strictly limited to a "re-clean" of the disputed areas.

​

5. NON-CIRCUMVENTION & RECRUITMENT FEE

​

The Service Providers referred to you are the "product" of our agency:

​

  • Prohibition: You agree not to solicit or engage Service Providers for work outside of the Reliable Cleans platform during the term of this agreement and for one (1) year following your last service date.

​

  • Liquidated Damages: If you engage a referred Service Provider directly for services outside of our platform, you agree to pay Reliable Cleans a referral/recruitment fee of $2,500.00 per individual engaged. This fee compensates us for the costs of vetting, background checking, and onboarding the provider.

​

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Safety: You agree to provide a safe working environment. This includes securing pets and notifying us of any hazardous conditions (e.g., mold, biohazards, or broken stairs).

​

  • Valuables: Please secure all jewelry, cash, and sentimental items. While we vet all providers, the Company is not liable for the loss of unsecured valuables.

​

  • Access: You are responsible for ensuring the Service Provider has entry to the property at the scheduled time.

​

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

​

  • Liability: Reliable Cleans is a referral agency and is not liable for any damages, theft, injuries, or losses arising from the services provided by the Service Provider.

​

  • Hold Harmless: You agree to indemnify and hold Reliable Cleans LLC harmless from any claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from the performance of the cleaning services or your interaction with the Service Provider.

​

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by acts of God, traffic, weather, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

​

8. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

​

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of San Diego County, California.

​

9. PRIVACY

​

We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Your data is used only to facilitate your cleaning referrals and will never be sold to third parties.

​

BY PROCEEDING WITH YOUR BOOKING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT.
